Holly's Hair

Holly’s hair is yellow as a sunflower's pedal
and she has eyes of blue and green,
and I think she knows me.

Gold on her pajamas that she keeps at grandma's
where we, take a holiday in spring.
She sings while she swings.

Holly’s hair,
brushing by her freckles here and there.
She is fair,
sharing pairs from up in her high chair

Yellow is the color of the morning sun.

Playing with her duckling while her wash cloth’s buckling,
under her yellow submarine, she’s a bath tub machine.

Charming finches in her trees and one or two canaries,
they keep her company, before she falls asleep.

Holly’s hair,
brushing by her freckles here and there.
She is fair,
sharing pairs from up in her high chair.

Yellow is the color of the morning sun,
It shines for everyone.

Holly’s hair
brushing by her freckles here and there.
