These Hands

from the album

These hands that hang here from my arms
These hands help out on Willie's farm
Useful hands with lots of things to do
I've got a couple hands, and that means I have two

My hands are worthy little tools, they throw a ball
I use them well in school, useful hands
Which serve so many tasks, they hold a fork, a spatula, a glass
My hands are friends to me and you

These hands that hang here from my arms
My hands are good for spinning yarns
They're handy, please pardon the pun
They get dirty when I'm outside having fun

My hands can clap (clap clap clap!)
The fingers on my hands can snap, snap (snap snap snap!)
They wave goodbye and say hello
They reach up for my mommy's hand
And help me build castles in sand
They make some shadow puppets on the wall
My hands will never mean no harm at all

Your hands, now raise them to the sky!
Little hands can give the Coach high fives
Busy hands can clap now 1-2-3
Your hands can hold a guitar on your knee
Yee-haw!

My hands are nicely appointed, regally they are anointed
None are double-jointed!
Open hands
In all kinds of climates, they are particular to primates
My hands prove useful on play-dates

These hands that hang here from my arms
My hands are good for spinning yarns
They're handy, please pardon the pun
They get dirty when I'm outside having fun
They get dirty when I'm outside having fun
They get dirty when I'm outside having fun!
(whew!)
